Driver/Factory Opperative 

BGID are looking for a driver/factory opperative to join our team. The job will involve driving vans and a 3.5 ton pickup to and from suppliers, customers and our engineers on site. We operate nationwide so some long distance will be required. When not on the road, the applicant will be in the factory helping with production and the movement of materials. Because of the nature our work overtime may be available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required. The applicant must be numerate and physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved. 

A full clean driving licence is essential. 

Qualifications such as CSCS Card, UKATA Asbestos Awareness and a Forklift License would be highly desirable.

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience.

Industrial Doors Engineer

BGID are looking for an industrial door engineer to join our team who has a proven track record in installing, servicing and repairing a variety of door and shutter systems. BGID provides a genuine 24/7 emergency call out service nationwide therefore overtime is always available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required.

A full clean driving licence and current CSCS card (blue skilled worker for door installation/repair being a distinct advantage) are essential.

Qualifications such as UKATA Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, PASMA etc are desirable.

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience.

 

Industrial Door Mates

The role involves learning how to install and repair a wide variety of door and shutter systems working alongside and assisting a lead engineer. Any experience in the door industry would be highly desirable, but not essential. Experience working with tools "on the vans" in any construction, engineering, technical or electrical industry is a must.

Overtime is always available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required. A full clean driving license with a minimum of two years driving experience (or close to) and current CSCS card are also required for this role.

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience.
