Industrial Doors Engineer

BGID are looking for an industrial door engineer to join our team who has a proven track record in installing, servicing and repairing a variety of door and shutter systems. BGID provides a genuine 24/7 emergency call out service nationwide therefore overtime is always available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required.

A full clean driving licence and current CSCS card (blue skilled worker for door installation/repair being a distinct advantage) are essential.

Qualifications such as UKATA Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, PASMA etc are desirable.

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience.

 

Industrial Door Mates

The role involves learning how to install and repair a wide variety of door and shutter systems working alongside and assisting a lead engineer. Any experience in the door industry would be highly desirable, but not essential. Experience working with tools "on the vans" in any construction, engineering, technical or electrical industry is a must.

Overtime is always available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required. A full clean driving license with a minimum of two years driving experience (or close to) and current CSCS card are also required for this role.

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience. 

 

Forklift Driver/ Storeman

BGID require a qualified Fork Lift Truck driver, with a current license, and with training able to assist with the smooth running of our stores department, and various other duties within our busy factory units. 

A full clean driving license would be essential, as some driving duties may required.

Hours 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, some overtime may be required at short notice, dependant on the current workload. 

Hourly rate: to be discussed at time of interview.

Three month trial period leading to a permanent position.  


Delivery/Collection Driver 

BGID Ltd, has an opening for a delivery/collection driver. 

The successful applicant would be driving a 3.5 ton pickup, the job involves loading and unloading manufactured items to and from delivery sites both local and nationwide.

We are looking for a physically fit person as heavy lifting will be involved. A fork lift truck license and a CSCS Card would be an advantage, as there are occasions when the driver will be asked to help other personnel on site. 

Flexibility is the key as early start and late finishes will be involved, these would be paid at our overtime rate after completion of a 40 hour week. 

Normal working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm.

A full clean driving license is essential.

Hourly rate: to be discussed at time of interview.

Three month trial period leading to a permanent position.
